We caught up with beautiful Valerie to talk about all things modeling and her future goals!

Q1. Swanky Mag: Hello, Can you introduce yourself to Swanky Magazine's readers?

I'm Valerie, a young black aspiring lawyer and currently modeling for my first year.

Q2. How did you get involved with modeling, and what do you love most about being a model?

Weird storytime - My ex said he wouldn't take a picture of me because "I wasn't a model" and "wasn't being paid for it" so I broke up with him a couple of months later, applied to two agencies, and got accepted and had my first big national client instantly.

Q3. What fuels your imagination and provides you with inspiration.

I love stargazing and listening to podcasts that let you see that your possibilities are truly limitless.

Q4. Let us into a secret, What is a beauty trick you do before a photoshoot?

I love to laminate my eyebrows with a home kit for 10 minutes before a shoot and use face oils the night before to give me a natural glow that can change your entire mood.

Q5. What projects are you working on next, and what are your goals for the future?

I will model for Nike and other large companies such as LEVIS, Pandora, Adidas, and bigger. I see it.
