Priya is taking the fashion world by storm, with her striking looks & amazing personality. We caught up with her to ask a little more about her journey!

Q1. Swanky Mag: Hello Priya, Can you introduce yourself to Swanky Magazine's readers?

Hello I am Priya Thomas. Am an Indian from Kerala (God’s own country, land of backwaters), which is one of the states in India. Currently, I am based in Ireland. I hold a bachelor’s degree in nursing ( Registered nurse) and also do part-time modelling.

Q2. How did you get involved with modeling, and what do you love most about being a model?

I got involved in modeling recently. However, I started receiving photoshoot offers for magazines and adverts when I was in school. Although I am interested and loved it, during those days I was reluctant to give it a try. My parents and family were also interested in it. But then somewhere in my heart, I had a lack of confidence. Offers kept coming and finally, I decided to move forward. And now here I am. I really love and enjoy each moment of it. The most striking part of being a model is (for me) I get lots of love, support, and appreciation from people around me. Recently, I had a photoshoot in Ireland, and people around me, organizers, other models were encouraging and supporting me a lot. I feel at home being far away from home. It really boosted my confidence level. As a model, you get to represent yourself, meet interesting people around, get immense opportunities. I am lucky to have lovely supporters here. What more to say, I have no words...

Q3. What fuels your imagination and provides you with inspiration.

The inner voice, not to lose hope is something that keeps me going. Whenever I think to step my feet backward, this inner voice fuels me up. Keep trying, keep smiling and try your best no matter what. There will definitely be lots of ups and downs in life, people who might make fun of you saying that you are good for nothing, but we need to face and overcome challenges. Happiness and sorrows are just like the two sides of a coin. It’s life and we have to go on. Finally, have a cup of tea to recharge your brain!!!!!

Q4. Let us into a secret, What is a beauty/fashion or hack you do before a photoshoot?

To be honest, before a photo shoot I try to have a good sleep so that I look fresh and energized in order to give my best shots. A good night’s sleep helps me to perk up. I try to relax as much as possible. The photoshoot itself makes me happy and keeps me going.

Q5. What projects are you working on next, and what are your goals for the future?

As of now, I have to complete some of my shoots. I look forward to being part of good projects ( be it small or big does not matter). Yep!!! waiting for new opportunities.

Q6. Are you signed with an agency if so who, if not who are you aiming for?

Well, am not signed to any agencies.
