Q1. Swanky Mag: Hello Marina, can you introduce yourself to Swanky Magazine's readers? Can you tell us a little about you?

My name is Marina Uralskaya. I’m a fashion designer based in Russia.

Q2. Why did you choose fashion designing as a career?

I have dreamed about a fashion career since my childhood.

Q3. Which area of fashion do you specialize in? Did you always want to work in that area?

I specialize in women’s wear and headwear too!.

Q4. Please briefly describe your style for our readers.

I think my style is more closer to neo-gothic or neo-Barocco but chic and sexual as usual.

Q5. Where do you get inspiration from when creating any design?

I always get inspiration in history, mostly in the renaissance period.

Q6. What do you love about being a fashion designer?

I love to mix ordinary clothes with extraordinary pieces which helps my clients to be original.

Q7. Would you consider yourself a hobbyist or a paid professional?

I’m a paid professional.

Q8. What has been the most memorable moment of your career and why?

The most memorable moment of my fashion career was my first fashion show.

Q9. What’s the hardest part of your job?

Its getting up early in the morning.

Q10. What is one piece of advice you would like to offer a new upcoming fashion designer looking to start their own business and pursue a career as a designer?

Make sure you’re working with truth and love and enjoy what you do.

Q11. According to you, what are the skills that are necessary for becoming a successful fashion designer?

I think it is ability to cut flawlessly.

Q12. How do you stay updated with the trends in the fashion industry?

I only use my own feelings for it.

I think Swanky Magazine is very fresh and interesting issue.
